Entering Library<\/h3>\n

You can bring hand-carried bags into the Reading Room. However, please do not bring hand-carried bags into the stack room; instead, put them in the locker.<\/p>\n

Copying Documents<\/h3>\n

There is no photocopy machine for private expense inside the library. You can copy documents outside the library after applying for borrowing or short borrowing at the desk.
\nOnly faculty of Graduate School of Economics and Graduate School of Management can use the photocopy machine for public expense.
\n\uff0aRare books cannot be copied.
\n\uff0aShort borrowing is limited to 5 books at a time.
\n\uff0aFor journals, latest issue (new arrival journal) cannot be borrowed or copied.<\/p>\n

Entering Stack Room<\/h3>\n

Faculty and students of Kyoto University can use books in the stack room. To enter the stack room, go to the library counter and exchange your personal ID or library card with an entrance card, which is the key to the stack room.
\n\uff0aLocation “East Bldg. B1 Stacks Center\/\u6771\u9928B1 \u30bb\u30f3\u30bf\u30fc” “East Bldg. B2 Stacks\/\u6771\u9928B2 \u66f8\u5eab” are located in a separate building (East Wing of HOKEI Building). Only faculty and students who belong to Faculty of Economics, Graduate School of Economics, and Graduate School of Management can enter the stacks from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. For other members, please use the Keep Order<\/a> service. For materials not eligible for the Keep Order service,\u00a0 please apply using the \u2018[KU members only] Economics Library Circulation Application Form\u2019<\/a>. Be careful that it takes some time.<\/p>\n

If you have any questions, such as direction to materials and library service, feel free to consult at the library counter.<\/p>\n

Visiting another library<\/h3>\n

You can visit and use another University\u2019s library. Before visiting (at least 10 workdays in advance), please apply via \u2018[EconLib] Visiting and Collection Survey Application Form<\/a>\u2018 or send \u2018Visiting and Collection Survey Application\u2018 by e-mail (040etsuran[at]mail2.adm.kyoto-u.ac.jp).

Interlibrary loans<\/h3>\n

University members can make Interlibrary Loan (ILL) requests. You can borrow books\/get a photocopy of articles from other university.
\nIt needs some postage and charge. For payment, when you pay by private expence, please apply to Main Library through MyKULINE.
