Outline:
Since the beginning of economics, economic growth and income distribution have been the most important theme of economics. In recent years too, slowdown of economic growth and widening of income gap are thought to be problems of advanced countries. In this international conference, researchers from diverse schools who are active at the forefront meet together in one place, present their researches, and discuss economic growth and income distribution beyond schools.

Anyone who are interested in the subject can participate in this international conference, including undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni of Kyoto University as well as researchers, irrespective of inside and outside of Kyoto University.

EParticipation fee for the international conference is free. Limited to the first 300 people. You can apply at the venue on that day if there are seats available.
EReception on the night of 24 August is held at French restaurant "La Tour". For location, please refer to the map on the program.
EReception fee is charged. Limited to the first 100 people. The reception fee is 4000 Japanese yen for general participants and 2000 Japanese yen for students. Please pay the reception fee at the reception on that day. Students of the Faculty of Economics, Kyoto University and the Graduate School of Economics, Kyoto University are free.
