On the purpose of improving research level and by organizing speaker's representation and academic discussion, BBL mainly invites graduate students, postdocs and young researchers in Graduate School of Economics, Kyoto University to give representation of their research and join the academic discussion.

Research fields of representation include theoretical and empirical research on Microeconomics, Macroeconomic and their applications (International Economics, Industrial Organization, Public Economics, Urban Economics, Environmental Economics, Labour Economics, Development Economics, etc.). On the purpose of improving research level, researches from even middle-stage to highly-completed are all welcome.

BBL also provides a chance for information exchange and communication among its target students and researchers. Meanwhile, professors also attend BBL and give their comments.

Attending BBL and enjoying your lunch (such as Bento or Sandwich) at the same time is totally allowed in this lunch-time workshop.

Please prepare digital material used for presentation (such as Powerpoint) by yourself, while BBL stuff will prepare computer for you. Preparation of handouts is optional. Please make a proper approximation about the amount of handouts for audience if you choose to prepare handouts. Including discussion, the duration of BBL is 50 minutes and please make sure about it when you make preparation.
