The Entrance Ceremony and Guidance for the “International Graduate Programme for East Asia Sustainable economic Development Studies (EA Programme)” was held on October 3, 2016.
The Dean of the Graduate School of Economics, Prof. Mun delivered his welcome address to all the new international students. Then the programme Director, Professor Hisano and other faculty members in charge explained the progrmme structure, administrative procedures and the outline of the courses offered in this semester. The new EA programme students, 12 master’s and 3 doctoral students from various countries such as China, Indonesia, Germany, Belgium, and Spain were listening attentively to each presentation and explanation with earnest eyes filled with joyful expectations. 9 of the exchange students from Goethe University (Germany), Wageningen University (the Netherlands), Jönköping University (Sweden), Renmin University (China), National Taiwan University (Taiwan), and National Chengchi University (Taiwan) also joined the Entrance Ceremony and Guidance.

After the ceremony, a small but warm party was held starting with an opening address by the Vice Dean, prof. Sugiyama, making a good start of the new academic year in a friendly atmosphere.
