“Thammasat University Summer School” held at Kyoto University
“Thammasat University Summer School” was held at Kyoto University on September 13-21.
Ever since the Kyoto University Graduate School of Economics signed an academic exchange agreement with Thammasat University Faculties of Economy and International Studies in 2013, they have fostered an active relationship through the exchange of faculty, students and graduate students.
In August, field research program (Graduate School of Economics Course Unit dividend subject: “ASEAN field research”) at Thammasat University is carried out, and about 10 graduate students participated from Kyoto University. Following this, we held a summer school in Kyoto, the Graduate School is mainly, we welcomed approximately 15 students from Thammasat University this time. In addition, Japanese students from a variety of graduate schools, including the Graduate School of Economics of Kyoto University, had participated with interest.
In the program, lively discussion and question-and-answer session that covered the various challenges that the entire East Asian region is facing had been exchanged from the students.
