Kyoto University Faculty of Economics The 100th Year Anniversary International Conference Series “Economic Growth and Income Distribution: Facing Real Economy Beyond Schools”

 
The Faculty of Economics, Kyoto University was founded in 1919. In 2019, in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Economics, Kyoto University, the Faculty of Economics, Kyoto University will be hosting a series of international conferences.

The purpose of this international conference is to contribute to the development of economics through presentations and debates by domestic and foreign researchers who engage in cutting edge researches of economic growth and income distribution. Since the beginning of economics, economic growth and income distribution have been the most important theme of economics. In recent years too, slowdown of economic growth and widening of income gap are thought to be problems of advanced countries. With the tradition of Faculty of Economics, Kyoto University that values diverse schools, neoclassical, Keynesian, and post-Keynesian researchers who are active at the forefront meet together in one place, present their researches, and discuss economic growth and income distribution beyond schools.

Anyone who are interested in the subject can participate in this international conference, including undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni of Kyoto University as well as researchers, irrespective of inside and outside of Kyoto University.
