A) There is no publicly available information on GPA.
We receive applications from an extremely large number of countries, so the institutions of higher education from which the applicants graduated are very diverse in terms of their systems and levels. There is a great deal of variation in the state of higher education in each country, and this diversity is taken into an account in the assessment process.
A) Please refer to the ‘Application process’ section of the GLOCAL website. The University of Glasgow is the consortium’s coordinating institution in charge of the admission procedures of entire GLOCAL consortium, and Kyoto University will not respond to individual enquiries.
A) Unfortunately, MEXT students are restricted to studying in Japan for the first six
months and cannot apply for GLOCAL as it requires a stay abroad.
A) For entry in September 2022, the dates are September 2021 to 7 January 2022.

countries and of the three universities. For students who entered in September 2021, the first
semester at the University of Glasgow was a combination of face-to-face, hybrid and online
classes. If a student is unable to enter a country through due to national entry restrictions,
special arrangements will be made to allow the student to complete the course online only.
After graduation
